Sometimes the problem isn’t that PPC doesn’t work it’s small mistakes in the way the campaign is set up or managed.
A few common mistakes I see are:
- Targeting keywords that are too broad and bringing in irrelevant traffic.
- Sending every ad click to the homepage instead of a relevant landing page.
- Not adding negative keywords, which can lead to paying for searches that have little value.
- Focusing only on clicks instead of looking at actual conversions and lead quality.
- Using the same ad copy for every audience without testing different messages.
- Setting a budget and then rarely checking campaign performance.
- Making changes too frequently without giving campaigns enough time to collect useful data.
