Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹

I thought it would be interesting to start a small income challenge and share my progress here every month.

Like many people, I’ve tried different ways of making money online, but I’ve realized that jumping from one idea to another doesn’t really help. So this time, I want to take a more focused approach and actually track what I’m doing.

The goal is simple: build a consistent online income stream and document the journey month by month.

I’ll be keeping track of things like:
  • šŸ’° Total income earned
  • šŸ“Š Where the income came from
  • ā±ļø Time spent working
  • šŸ“ˆ What worked well
  • āŒ What didn’t work
  • 🧠 New things I learned
  • šŸŽÆ Goals for the following month
I’m not expecting huge results immediately. Even a small improvement from one month to the next would be progress in my eyes.

I also want to keep this thread honest. If I have a bad month, I’ll share that too. If something works, I’ll explain what I did differently. Hopefully, documenting both the wins and mistakes will make the journey more useful.

My first goal is simply to get started and stay consistent instead of constantly looking for the next ā€œeasyā€ method.

I’ll come back with an update at the end of each month and share the numbers and lessons learned.

If anyone else is currently working toward an income goal, feel free to join the challenge or share what you're working on. It would be great to follow each other’s progress and keep motivated. šŸ™Œ

Let’s see where this goes!

Month 1 starts now. šŸš€

I really like this idea. Tracking income every month makes it easier to see whether you're actually moving forward instead of just feeling busy. Good luck with Month 1!

This is a great challenge. I especially like that you're planning to share the bad months too. That's usually where the most useful lessons come from. Looking forward to your updates.

Count me in as a follower. I’ve tried several online income methods myself, and tracking the numbers definitely helps keep things realistic. Hope you have a strong first month!

Good idea. Sometimes we focus too much on the final income goal and forget to track the small improvements along the way. Monthly tracking should give you a much clearer picture

I like the honest approach here. Not every month is going to be successful, and that's completely normal. Sharing what didn't work could be just as helpful as sharing the wins. Best of luck!

This sounds like a useful experiment. I'd recommend tracking expenses too, not just income. At the end of the month, knowing your actual profit will give you a better idea of how things are going.

Nice challenge! Consistency is probably the hardest part of making money online. Having a public progress thread might give you an extra reason to stay accountable. Looking forward to seeing your first update.

I’ve been thinking about doing something similar. It’s easy to feel like you're making progress when you're constantly learning, but actual numbers tell a different story. Hope this challenge keeps you focused.

Great idea. I would also track how many hours you spend on each income source. That way, you can eventually see which method is giving you the best return for your time.

I like that you're not expecting overnight results. Building a reliable income stream usually takes time. Start small, learn from each month and improve gradually. Good luck!

Following this. I’m curious to see how your numbers change after a few months. The first month might be slow, but the data you collect should help you make better decisions later.

This is a much better approach than constantly jumping between different ā€œmake money onlineā€ methods. Pick something, test it, track the results and adjust. Looking forward to your journey

Good luck with the challenge! One suggestion would be to set a realistic monthly target rather than only tracking the final income. Having a specific number to aim for might make the challenge even more motivating.

I appreciate the transparency you're planning to have with this. A lot of online income posts only show the success and leave out the failures. Seeing the complete journey will be much more useful.

This could become a really interesting case study after 6 or 12 months. Keep the updates consistent, even when the numbers aren't great. Sometimes the slow months contain the best lessons.

I like the idea of tracking where every dollar comes from. After a few months, you'll probably notice which activities are actually worth your time and which ones only feel productive.

Nice initiative. I'd also keep a small note of what you changed each month. Then when income increases or decreases, you'll have a better idea of what caused the change.

Best of luck! I think the hardest part is simply sticking with the plan when the first few weeks don't produce much. Don't get discouraged if Month 1 isn't impressive.

Looking forward to following this. Keep the updates simple and honest—what you tried, what you earned, what you spent, what you learned and what you're changing next month. Even if the numbers are small, the journey can still be useful to everyone reading.
