Hello SOCIALTACTS,
I've spent years reading trading journals from other people, but I've never had the courage to start one myself.
That changes today.
This thread will follow a personal challenge I've set for myself: turning 10 SOL into 1,000 SOL by trading Solana memecoins. It's a long shot, and I'm fully aware that most people will think it's unrealistic. That's fine. The point isn't to impress anyone—it's to test whether I've finally learned from every mistake I've made.
Unlike many traders, I didn't begin with crypto. I ran a small online business that generated decent income, and over time I became fascinated by financial markets. Stocks felt too slow, so I eventually found crypto, where everything moved at a completely different speed.
The first few months were rough. I bought tops, panic sold bottoms, and followed influencers who seemed to know everything. Some of them made incredible calls, while others disappeared right after promoting projects that crashed.
Eventually I realized something.
Nobody was coming to make me profitable.
If I wanted to improve, I had to stop copying other people and start building my own process.
Over the last year I've spent hundreds of hours watching on-chain activity, tracking wallet movements, studying market psychology, and understanding why certain narratives explode while thousands of others disappear within a day.
That doesn't mean I've mastered it.
Far from it.
I've had trades that doubled within hours, and I've also watched profitable positions return to zero because I convinced myself they would "go higher."
Those moments taught me an expensive lesson:
Profit isn't real until it's taken.
For this challenge I'm keeping everything simple.
I funded a brand-new wallet with 10 SOL. No additional deposits. No moving funds between wallets. Whatever happens will happen with this single balance.
My approach isn't to buy every new launch.
Instead, I'll focus on projects that have:
I'll also share why I enter trades, why I exit them, and what I learn from both winners and losers. If I make a bad decision, I'll own it publicly instead of pretending it never happened.
This thread isn't about proving I'm some trading genius.
It's about documenting whether consistency can outperform emotion.
Maybe 10 SOL becomes 20.
Maybe it becomes 100.
Maybe one day it reaches 1,000.
Or maybe the market reminds me that I still have more to learn.
Either way, everything will be documented here.
Challenge Started: Today
Starting Capital: 10 SOL
Final Goal: 1,000 SOL
Let's see where this journey leads.
