After spending the first month improving the technical side of the website, I'm shifting more of my attention toward what really matters now: getting people to find it.

Building and optimizing the site was one challenge, but getting consistent organic traffic is a completely different game.

I've started looking more closely at how search engines crawl the website, which pages are getting indexed, and where there's still room for improvement.

What I'm Working on Now

One of my main priorities is improving the existing pages rather than constantly adding new features. I want to make sure the content is organized properly, related pages are connected through internal links, and visitors can find what they're looking for without too much effort.

I'm also reviewing the French keyword strategy and looking for opportunities to improve titles, category pages, and overall site structure.

At the same time, I'm keeping an eye on technical SEO issues that could affect crawling and indexing. There's no point in automating content imports if the resulting pages aren't accessible or useful to search engines and visitors.

The Reality of Building with AI

Using AI has made it much easier to develop features that would have taken me considerably longer to build on my own.

But I'm learning that faster development doesn't automatically translate into faster growth.

Every new feature needs testing, every optimization needs verification, and every SEO change takes time to evaluate. Sometimes a small adjustment makes a noticeable difference. Other times, the results aren't what I expected.

I'm trying to avoid making changes just for the sake of staying busy. I'd rather focus on improvements that solve an actual problem.

What Comes Next

My next step is to spend less time adding features and more time understanding how the website performs.

I want to identify which pages are getting impressions, which keywords are showing potential, and where I can improve the experience for visitors.

I'm also continuing to refine the automation so the website requires less manual maintenance as it grows.

It's still early, and I'm not expecting overnight results from SEO. For now, the goal is to build a solid foundation, track progress, and keep improving based on what the data tells me.

One thing I'm taking away from this project is that launching a website is only the beginning. The real work starts when you have to grow it, maintain it, and figure out whether your efforts are actually paying off.

I'll share another update once I have more meaningful results to report.

For those of you building niche websites or using AI to speed up development, what do you usually prioritize first after launch: technical SEO, content optimization, or link building?
