I remember being stuck on a decision for almost a year. I kept telling myself that I needed more information, more confidence, and a better plan. One day I realized I had been using “preparing” as an excuse to avoid taking the first step. I finally started, and honestly, things were not perfect. But I learned more in a few months of actually doing it than I had learned from all that planning. Sometimes moving on doesn't mean knowing everything. It just means being willing to start.

A project I worked on a while back didn't go anywhere. I had spent a lot of time and energy on it, so naturally I didn't want to let it go. I kept trying to fix the same problems again and again. Eventually I decided to move on and work on something else. Funny enough, the lessons from that failed project helped me make much better decisions the next time. Sometimes holding on too long can stop you from seeing better opportunities.

That's probably one of the biggest reasons I believe in simply moving forward, even when the steps feel small.
