I don't have a laptop. I'm doing everything from my phone and I'm making around $400-500 a month consistently. Here's what's actually working:
1. Facebook Marketplace flipping — my main earner
I buy stuff cheap locally and resell it for profit. Last week I bought a broken coffee machine for $8 (seller thought it was dead), cleaned the filter (literally took 10 minutes), and sold it for $45. It's not glamorous but the margins are wild if you know what to look for. Electronics, furniture, tools — all good categories.
2. Writing articles on my phone
Yes, on my phone. I use Google Docs and a cheap Bluetooth keyboard I bought for $12. I write articles for a content agency that pays $15 per 800-word article. I can do 2-3 a day easily. Not rich but it's consistent.
3. Remotasks / Appen for AI data work
You basically help train AI models. Label images, transcribe audio, answer questions. It pays about $2-5 per hour which is not great but it's something you can do literally anywhere with wifi. Good gap-filler income.
4. Instagram theme pages
I run a motivational quotes page. At 12,000 followers now. Brands pay me $30-80 for a story post. Takes maybe 30 minutes a day to run. The income isn't huge but it's growing.
Anyone else doing phone-only income? Would love to hear what's working for other people.
