I’ve seen people get discouraged because their new site doesn’t rank after a month or two. SEO usually needs more patience than that. If you’re going to judge the project, I think looking at several months of data will give you a much clearer picture. Your plan seems to account for that, which is a good thing.
 
I’m interested in this because a lot of people either say Amazon affiliate is dead or claim it’s still extremely easy. Your approach seems more realistic. Test a few niches, track the numbers, and decide based on actual results.
 
The organic traffic part is what makes these projects difficult. Getting the content online is easy nowadays, but finding keywords you can realistically rank for is a completely different story. Hopefully you share some of your keyword research as well.
 
I think your 11-month deadline is a good idea. It gives the sites enough time to mature while also preventing you from wasting years on something that isn’t producing results. Looking forward to your monthly updates.
