I’m thinking about selling an adult website targeting the US market. I’ve been working on it for a while and have built up the site with organic traffic and content.

I’m not 100% sure whether I should sell it yet, so I wanted to get some opinions from people who have bought or sold websites in this niche.

How would you go about valuing a site like this, and where would you look for serious buyers?

For serious buyers, I’d look at established website marketplaces and brokers rather than random DMs. Having verified traffic and revenue data makes the process much easier and helps filter out people who aren’t serious.

The amount of content you have created should also be considered. Building a large content library takes time.

I’d probably get a professional valuation before deciding whether to sell. Organic traffic is valuable, but the quality and stability of that traffic matter just as much.
