A quick update on where things stand.

Since my first post, I've shifted from building to actually using the system.

The warm-up bot has now been running across a handful of Bluesky accounts, and so far everything has been behaving as expected. My goal at this stage isn't to chase follower counts it's to establish accounts that look and act naturally before I start pushing them harder.

One thing I've learned already is that patience is probably going to be more important than speed. It's tempting to automate everything from day one, but I'd rather build accounts that can survive long-term than burn them out trying to force growth.

Over the past few days I've been monitoring things like:
  • Account activity and consistency
  • Interaction patterns
  • Follow-back rates
  • Any signs that the automation looks too repetitive
Whenever I notice something that feels unnatural, I tweak the bot and let it run again. It's been an ongoing cycle of testing, adjusting, and observing.

I'm deliberately avoiding sharing exact methods or settings for now because they're still evolving. Once I'm confident in what actually works consistently, I'll be happy to share more details.

The next phase is where things should get more interesting.

I'll start posting content regularly on these accounts and compare different approaches to see what gains the most traction. From there I'll begin experimenting with driving traffic and exploring possible monetization opportunities.

Current status:
  • ✅ Warm-up bot completed and running
  • ✅ Initial accounts active
  • 🔄 Collecting baseline data
  • ⏳ Content testing starts next
Still very early days, but that's the whole point of this journey to document the process honestly, including the slow parts.

I'll continue updating this thread as I gather more data. Hopefully these updates will be useful to anyone else curious about Bluesky growth.

Nice update. I actually like that you're focusing on making the accounts look natural instead of rushing growth. Looking forward to seeing the content testing results.
