For me, getting the first affiliate sale was mostly about testing and being consistent.
I started by choosing a product I actually understood and then created simple content around it. Instead of just dropping an affiliate link, I tried to explain why the product could be useful and who it was best for.
At first, I didn't get much traffic or clicks, so I honestly wasn't expecting much. Then one day I checked my affiliate dashboard and saw my first commission. It wasn't a huge amount, but seeing that first sale made a big difference.
It showed me that the process could actually work. After that, I focused more on the type of content that was getting clicks and slowly improved from there.
The first sale definitely felt more exciting than the amount itself.
