Honestly, I've had decent success just by being active on LinkedIn. Commenting on industry posts, sharing useful content, and building relationships has brought in several inbound inquiries without much direct selling.

One overlooked source is existing customers. Upselling, cross-selling, and asking for introductions often generates more revenue than constantly chasing brand-new prospects.

I combine Google Maps with local business directories for local lead generation. After identifying potential clients, I research their websites before reaching out with specific recommendations.

A few years ago I was convinced I needed the newest lead generation software to grow my client base. I spent money on multiple platforms, but nothing really changed. Eventually I went back to basics. I chose one niche, used LinkedIn to find decision-makers, researched every company for a few minutes, and sent personalized emails. My response rate nearly doubled compared to the generic campaigns I was running before. That experience taught me that the process matters much more than the tool itself.
