I’m running ads for a very niche product, but the CPC for my main keywords has become extremely expensive. I’m currently seeing clicks around $7–$9, which is difficult to sustain with my budget.

I’ve already experimented with lowering bids, changing match types, refining targeting, and adjusting the campaign structure, but I’m not seeing much improvement.

For those who’ve dealt with high-competition, low-volume keywords, what actually worked for you to bring CPC down without sacrificing traffic quality?

I’d especially appreciate practical strategies around long-tail keywords, ad relevance, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywords, or alternative ways to capture the same search intent.
