If your goal is to earn from Meta Ads, I'd actually suggest learning client acquisition first. Plenty of businesses need someone to manage their advertising, but very few know where to find reliable freelancers. Learn the skill, build a few case studies, then approach local businesses with confidence. That's a much faster route than waiting for your own online store to become profitable.

A lot of beginners believe that targeting is everything. Personally, I think the creative is far more important today. If your video grabs attention within the first three seconds and clearly explains the value, Meta usually finds the right audience over time. Invest more effort into content than complicated audience settings.

One thing I wish someone had told me earlier is to study human behaviour more than advertising software. People buy because they're interested, emotional, curious, or trying to solve a problem. Meta Ads simply help you reach those people. Understanding buyers will always be more valuable than memorising every Ads Manager feature.
