Hey everyone! I’m looking to hire a freelancer who can help me with SEO.

I’m mainly looking for someone with solid experience in improving organic rankings, on-page SEO, keyword research, and overall search visibility. I’m not necessarily looking for an agency an experienced freelancer who knows what they’re doing would be great.

A good freelancer should be able to explain SEO without making everything sound complicated. I’ve had better experiences with people who can clearly explain why they're making a particular change and what result they're expecting.

Make sure you ask about their approach to backlinks. I’ve seen freelancers promise hundreds of links, but quantity isn't necessarily what you want. I’d rather have someone focus on relevance and quality.

Don't choose purely based on the cheapest quote. I tried that once and ended up spending more later fixing the work. Sometimes paying a little more for someone experienced saves a lot of trouble.

I’d look for someone who is comfortable with both on-page and technical SEO. A lot of ranking problems aren't solved by publishing more content or building more links. Sometimes the website itself needs attention first.
