Hey everyone,

I'm planning to launch a dating platform aimed specifically at the South Asian community. Before I invest in custom development, I wanted to ask if anyone here has gone down this path.

Would you recommend starting with an existing dating app/script and customizing it, or is it better to build everything from scratch?

I'm open to hiring a developer through Upwork or Freelancer if that's the most practical route, but I'd rather avoid reinventing the wheel if there are solid foundations already available.

If you've built something similar or know of reliable frameworks, white-label solutions, or development approaches that save time and money, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

I'd start with a proven script and customize it. Building a dating platform from scratch can get expensive very quickly.

If you're validating the idea, don't overbuild. Launch an MVP first and see if people actually sign up.
