Hey everyone,

I thought I'd start sharing my online income journey here because I want to keep myself accountable. I've tried different things online before, but honestly, I wasn't very consistent.

I used to jump from one idea to another whenever I didn't see results quickly. This time, I'm trying to take things slower and actually track what I'm doing.

My goal isn't to make thousands overnight. I just want to build something that can eventually give me a consistent monthly income.

Where I'm Starting​

I started taking this seriously a few months ago.

In the beginning, I was making almost nothing. I was spending more time learning, testing tools and creating content than actually earning.

My first realistic target was simply to reach $500/month.

I'm still not where I want to be, but at least I'm finally seeing some progress.

My Numbers This Month​

Here are my numbers for the month:

Revenue: $1,120
Expenses: $280
Profit: $840

It's not life-changing money, but I'm pretty happy with it considering where I started.

Most of the revenue came from affiliate commissions and a few small online projects. My biggest expenses were software subscriptions, content-related tools and some paid promotion tests.

What I Actually Did​

This month I focused mainly on:

• Publishing more useful content
• Working on my affiliate sites
• Testing different traffic sources
• Improving older content
• Trying a few new affiliate offers
• Reaching out for some small freelance work

I also stopped spending time on a couple of ideas that weren't showing any results.

That was probably a good decision.

What Worked​

The biggest surprise was that some of my older content started bringing more traffic and affiliate clicks.

I originally thought I needed to keep creating new content constantly.

But after updating some older pages and improving the calls-to-action, I started getting better results from content that was already there.

That made me realize I probably have more potential in my existing projects than I thought.

What Didn't Work​

Not everything went well.

I spent around $120 testing paid traffic for one offer and barely made anything back.

I also wasted quite a bit of time trying a strategy that looked promising after watching other people talk about it.

It didn't work for me.

Instead of continuing to throw more time and money at it, I decided to stop.

That's something I'm trying to get better at knowing when to continue and when to cut my losses.

Biggest Lesson This Month​

The biggest lesson for me was:

Don't confuse activity with progress.

I can spend 10 hours working online and still accomplish very little.

What matters is whether those hours are actually moving something forward.

I'm trying to focus less on doing everything and more on doing the few things that are already showing signs of working.

Month-to-Month Progress​

Last month: $860
This month: $1,120
Increase: $260

The increase mainly came from better affiliate conversions and some extra freelance work.

It's not a massive jump, but it's moving in the right direction.

What I'm Struggling With​

My biggest problem right now is consistency.

Some weeks I'm extremely productive, and other weeks I get distracted by new ideas.

I also still struggle with deciding where to put my time creating more content, improving existing projects, or looking for new income sources.

I'm hoping to get better at that over the next few months.

My Goals for Next Month​

I'm keeping my goals simple:

• Reach $1,300+ revenue
• Keep expenses below $300
• Improve my existing affiliate content
• Get at least one new freelance client
• Stop jumping between too many different ideas

I'll come back next month and post the actual numbers, whether they are good or bad.
