The last year has probably been the hardest year of my life.

For years I ran a Twitter bot network in the adult CPA space. It was doing really well until everything got wiped out. Around $15k worth of bots gone.

Instead of moving on, I spent almost a year trying to rebuild it. Burned a lot of money, wasted countless hours, and in the end I had to accept that it was over.

I made some money by offering the same promotion services to OFM agencies, but it was stressful, inconsistent, and definitely not something I wanted to depend on long term. Eventually my income dropped to almost nothing.

At home things weren't much better.

Even though I covered all the bills, I never really felt supported. Communication kept getting worse and I spent most of that year feeling completely alone.

Eventually I hit my breaking point. I admitted something I had done years ago and lied about. Shortly after that, my relationship of eight years ended.

Maybe there's still a chance things could work out someday, but I can't build my future around hope anymore.

So now I'm starting over.

I'm focusing on selling my services to local businesses while building a SaaS product that can eventually generate recurring revenue without trading every hour for money.

I'm also rereading The Millionaire Fastlane. The first time I read it was while everything was falling apart, so none of it really stuck. This time it's hitting differently. Thanks to @lucky.sparks for recommending I give it another read.

The current goal is simple: reach $10k/month through retainers and service sales.

Right now I'm at around $1k MRR from four retainer clients.

Last month I made about $3.5k total.

This month I've closed one project worth $2k so far. Hopefully I'll land a few more before the month ends. I just need to stay focused, keep reaching out, and keep networking. Claude Code hasn't replaced everyone... yet.

I'm also building a small SaaS for local cafés. Nothing revolutionary, but if I can charge $100–200/month per customer and learn how to sell it properly, it could become something meaningful.

This year taught me a lot.

Building businesses around industries that don't create real value eventually caught up with me. Whether it was karma or just bad decisions, I don't know.

Either way, I'm done with the porn and scam-related space.

From now on I want to build software and provide services that actually help real businesses grow.

It's going to take time, but I'm betting on myself again.

I'll keep posting updates along the way.

Let's see where this journey goes.

Respect for being honest. Most people only post the wins, not the years where everything falls apart. Wishing you a strong comeback.

The fact that you're building something legitimate now is already a win. Keep going.

Losing everything hurts, but the lessons usually end up being worth more than the money. Good luck.

Sounds like life forced you to hit the reset button. You've done it once before, so you can do it again.

Thanks for sharing the real story instead of pretending everything is perfect. Rooting for you.
