One lesson I've learned from watching startups is that people rarely switch platforms because of one feature. They switch because the overall experience feels noticeably better. If you can improve multiple pain points at once, you have a much stronger chance.

Back when forums were more popular, I loved how discussions could last for years. More recently, everything feels disposable because content disappears so quickly. I like the idea of creating a place where valuable discussions can continue to grow while still supporting modern content formats.

The mobile-first approach is something I completely agree with. I can't remember the last time I regularly used a desktop browser for community discussions. Most people live on their phones now, so designing around that makes perfect sense.

I have a friend who's an independent creator, and one of his biggest complaints is that platforms constantly change algorithms without warning. Months of work can disappear overnight. Hopefully your platform gives creators more consistency and transparency.

Building a platform from scratch reminds me of constructing a city. Writing code is only the beginning. Eventually you need infrastructure, security, moderation, growth, support, partnerships, and a healthy community culture. That's a massive undertaking, and I wish you success.
