I’m on a little mission to squeeze some extra juice out of my website traffic

I’ve been testing banner ads lately and have already played around with a couple of popular networks, but I’m wondering if there are some lesser-known options that are actually worth trying.

Rather than signing up for 20 networks and turning my site into an ad festival , I’d love to hear what’s working for other publishers.

Things I’m curious about:

• Which ad network surprised you with good results?
• Any networks that work nicely with smaller websites?
• How long did approval take?
• What kind of ad formats gave you the best results?
• Are you seeing better earnings from CPM, CPC, or another model?
• Any simple optimization tricks that made a noticeable difference?

Feel free to share networks you’ve personally tested, even if they aren’t huge names. Real experiences are much more useful than another “Top 10 Ad Networks” list I can find on Google.

Hey, I’ve had better results from testing a couple of smaller networks instead of sticking with the biggest names. Placement and audience seem to make a huge difference.
