When I started my side hustle journey, I had one big mistake in my mindset.
I wanted results too quickly.
I kept looking for methods that could make money fast instead of spending enough time building something properly.
Whenever something didn't work, I jumped to another idea.
New niche.
New platform.
New strategy.
New project.
And after a while, I realized I wasn't really building anything. I was just constantly starting over.
So I decided to change my approach.
Instead of asking:
"How can I make money quickly?"
I started asking:
"What can I build today that could still be useful six months from now?"
That small change made a big difference.
I started focusing more on learning useful skills, improving my content, understanding SEO, experimenting with different traffic sources, and actually tracking what worked instead of randomly trying everything.
I'm still far from where I want to be.
There are still slow days.
There are still projects that don't work.
And honestly, I still get tempted by "easy money" opportunities sometimes.
But now I'm trying to play the long game.
My current goal isn't to make some crazy amount overnight.
It's to build something that grows slowly and consistently.
One skill → one project → one lesson → one improvement at a time.
