I’ve been thinking about what actually makes a website attractive when the owner decides it’s time to sell.
For me, it’s not just about traffic or revenue. A buyer usually wants to see whether the site has something solid behind the numbers and whether it can continue growing after the handover.
Things like clean analytics, consistent traffic, quality content, a good backlink profile, reliable revenue, and a domain that fits the niche can make a big difference. Even simple things such as having proper documentation, organized finances, and an easy-to-manage setup can make a site feel much more valuable.
I’m curious what others look at when evaluating a website for a potential flip.
What do you think makes a website genuinely attractive to buyers? Is it revenue, traffic, domain value, growth potential, or something else?
