Over the past few days, I've noticed that nearly all of my PPC campaign clicks are coming from mobile devices, while desktop traffic has dropped to almost nothing.

I haven't made any changes to device targeting, bid adjustments, or campaign settings, so I'm confused about what might have caused this sudden shift.

Has anyone else experienced something similar recently? Is this just a normal change in user behavior, or could there be an issue with my campaign setup that I should investigate?

I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions.

This is actually pretty common depending on your industry. More people browse and search on their phones now, so mobile traffic often outweighs desktop traffic.

I'd check your device performance report first. It will show whether desktop impressions have dropped or if people just aren't clicking anymore.

Have you looked at your bid adjustments? Even if you didn't change them recently, it's worth double-checking that nothing was accidentally modified.

I've seen this happen after Google updated how ads were being served. My desktop traffic came back after about a week without me changing anything.

What type of business are you advertising? Some industries naturally receive much more mobile traffic than others.

Check whether your landing page has any issues on desktop. If the page loads slowly or has display problems, it could affect desktop performance.

Have you compared impression share by device? If desktop impressions dropped significantly, the issue might be competition rather than your settings.

This happened to one of my campaigns recently. It turned out search behavior had shifted, and mobile searches were simply much higher than desktop.

I'd review your campaign reports over the last 30 days instead of just a few days. Sometimes short-term changes aren't really trends.

Also check if any automated bidding strategy is favoring mobile because it's generating better conversion rates.

Desktop traffic has been declining gradually for years in many niches. Unless conversions have dropped too, I wouldn't worry too much.

Check your analytics alongside your ad platform. If both show the same trend, it's probably genuine user behavior.

Have you recently changed your landing page or website? Even small changes can affect how users interact on different devices.
