I use a simple rule: no business decisions after a certain hour. If I have an idea at night, I write it down and look at it the next morning. Most ideas still seem useful, but some definitely don't. 😂

When I first became a solo founder, weekends didn't feel like weekends at all. I'd tell myself I would only work for an hour, then suddenly three or four hours had disappeared. Eventually I started planning something outside the house every Saturday. Having somewhere to go made it much easier to close the laptop.

I started scheduling personal time the same way I schedule work. It sounds a little silly, but if I leave free time completely open, work somehow fills it.

For me, exercise has been one of the best ways to switch my brain off. Even a short walk after finishing work creates a clear boundary between “business time” and “personal time.”
