When I first entered this industry, I expected everything to move quickly. Looking back, I'm actually glad it didn't because the slower pace forced me to learn the fundamentals instead of rushing into campaigns I wasn't ready for. Those early months of learning made a huge difference later.

One thing I'd recommend is taking another look at the information you include in your applications. Sometimes small details, like clearly explaining your traffic sources and promotional methods, can make your application much stronger without changing anything about your business.

I've noticed that affiliate managers often appreciate transparency more than impressive numbers. If you're still learning, just say so. Being honest about where you are and explaining your goals professionally often creates a better impression than trying to sound like an expert.
