I remember a campaign where removing poor-performing keywords increased ROI almost immediately. Sometimes less really is more.

A campaign for an online course achieved excellent returns because we offered a free webinar before asking people to buy.

The highest ROI I've experienced came after improving conversion tracking. Before that, we thought several campaigns were underperforming. Once phone calls, contact forms, and purchases were tracked correctly, we realised certain campaigns were far more successful than the reports had suggested.

One of my most memorable campaigns was for a small online candle shop. Sales were slow, and the owner was thinking about stopping paid advertising. We decided to focus only on gift sets instead of every product. During the Christmas season, those ads performed incredibly well, and the business actually sold out of several products. Seeing the owner's excitement made that campaign unforgettable.
